inspiration...a watery lake view

My dog walking buddy recently purchased a new condo with a gorgeous view of Lake Michigan. She is enjoying shopping for new pieces for the space, always a blast! Not knowing too much of her taste and style, I created this mood board off of a few of her key words: modern, wallpaper accent wall, turquoise accents, light colored couch.

I came across this gorgeous watercolored wallpaper by artist Karla Davison in collaboration with Black Crow Studios. When this wallpaper becomes the main focal point in a room, the results are stunning. I decided to finish out the room with more subdued, modern pieces. Keeping the sofa simple, I went for investing in unique vintage curved club chairs by Milo Baughman (one of my favorite designers). Brass sconces keep the floor clear and a glass/brass coffee table has such an elegant curve of the legs while also keeping the space more open. A muted cow hide rug adds a bit of texture and the geo terrarium brings nature inside. She would not overlook a new piece for her pup, the Holden Pet Bunk dog bed with a shearling throw would fit right into this new modern space.
