inspiration...start something spinning!

Sometimes the best creative tool you can have is a great partner. If you have not seen the PBS documentary on Charles and Ray Eames, you can watch it for free at PBS. Please do, it is so inspiring! I watched it with my husband about a year ago and we both really saw the potential that we had together if we used our complementing talents as one. So we will see where that takes us in the future, we are currently on track right now!

He recently came home from a business trip to Herman Miller. They gave him a parting gift of a walnut top. It is so gorgeous, fits perfectly in the palm of your hand, and is stunning on our table. What really struck me was the quote on the side of the box,

"Toys are not really as innocent as they look. Toys and games are preludes to serious ideas."
                                                                                                       -Charles Eames

Herman Miller goes on to say "So whether you're brainstorming, procrastinating, or just having fun, playing with this [top] is sure to start something spinning."

What a wonderful idea! Find out more at
