inspiration...a child's workspace

Expedit workstation by Ikea

La Secrete by Philippine Dutto

Half Pipe desk by Offi & Company

Growing up, I had a small antique fold down desk that I stored all my papers, note cards and pencils in, but it was too delicate to put large history or math books on for homework time. I would just have to lay on my bed! (if only I would have had my light weight laptop). Now they are making more functional desks with kids in mind. Why not? Is that not the main time in life when all we have to do with our time is learn?

I loved the collection of desks compiled by New York Times with article, Work Spaces for Children.
