Taking something old and making it new is what I get excited about. When I came across this creative story, I had to share. Dries Wienwauters and James Goggin were inspired by the work of Joseph A David, who created a stencil back in 1876 that can draw every letter of the alphabet: uppercase, lowercase, numbers, punctuation. Since the original was hard to come by and very fragile, they made a reproduction and had the stencil laser cut out of stainless steel, creating a limited edition of 50. (Illustrator of the 1800's??)
